Flash a board, no toolchain
Plug the board in over USB, pick a build, and write it from this page. Web Serial talks to the chip directly — nothing is uploaded to us, and no driver package is installed.
This browser has no Web Serial support. Use Chrome, Edge, or Opera on a desktop — Firefox and Safari cannot flash boards.

Checking firmware directory…
Before you flash
- Close anything else holding the serial port — Arduino IDE, `screen`, esptool.
- Use a data cable. Charge-only cables are the most common failure.
- On Linux, your user needs the
dialoutgroup. - Some boards need the boot button held while connecting. The flasher will tell you when.

How this is wired
Each build is an esp-web-tools manifest with its parts and offsets. The page reads the directory
index, renders one install button per manifest, and hands the binaries to the browser. Firmware is served from
this origin, so the whole flow works without a backend.
